Geosystems Africa is an approved South African distributor of survey, measurement and geo-solution products and accessories for Leica-Geosystems Heerbrugg Switzerland incorporating the GeoMos product basket for monitoring solutions. Geosystems Africa has an accredited workshop to address all the service requirements for total station, global positioning systems and levels. Geosystems Africa, in collaboration with Leica Geosystems, presented a two-day GeoMos workshop at Sishen from 5 to 7 June 2012 and a further two-day workshop at Thabazimbi from 11 to 13 June 2012. These workshops were attended by 39 delegates from various sub-Saharan African mining houses with representation from as far as Botswana and Namibia. Due to the continuous increase of data observation requests and advancing technology, this presented all involved with an opportunity to be exposed to the updated software, enhanced functionality and new version releases of the GeoMos product suite.
