Phoenix Contact's new dip-coated Quint Power power supply units provide a way to protect all PCB components. The power supplies, which have an adjustable output voltage from 18 up to 29,5 V DC and output currents of 5, 10, and 20 A, are capable of tolerating 100% humidity. Input voltages from 85 – 264 V AC or 90 – 350 V DC supply the three single-phase devices. The three-phase module with 20 A nominal output current can be operated on networks with 320 – 575 V AC or 45 – 800 V DC. Offering an efficiency of up to 93%, the devices generate minimal heat loss, thus not only saving energy but also extending the service life of the components. The wide temperature range of -25 to +70°C makes the units suitable for use in a variety of applications.
