Steel is growing in importance in construction and finding new areas of application which present ever-increasing challenges for tradespeople. Common HSS metal jigsaw blades often do not meet the expectations of professional users with regard to cutting speed and lifetime. Bosch has developed an innovative solution for this purpose: the new metal Speed for metal jigsaw blades offer high cutting speed and longevity which exceed those of standard HSS jigsaw blades by more than 200%. The saw blades offer advantages in terms of cutting speed and longevity thanks to their tooth geometry with two alternating tooth shapes: one tooth with a straight back and large gullet followed by a tooth with a reinforced back and small gullet. The straight tooth back and the large gullet provide high cutting speed and high chip removal capacity. The reinforced tooth back is designed for minimal wear and long life.
