Finetek has introduced the EE300 electromechanical level measuring system. This system is an electro-mechanical level measuring system designed to take measurements up to 30 m in powders and granular solids such as grain and cement storage silos. The system offers measurement without interference from the environment such as sound waves, dust, capacitance, or temperature change. The EE300 will lower a robust position sensor (plumb-bob type sensor) which will stop when the position sensor reaches the material to be measured. The level is calculated by detecting the sensor measuring pulley and count the cable wire length to the material level. The system features auto return setup to prevent sensing weight from being buried or from sliding into the tank pivot. This is to avoid damage to any facility equipment while the tank is empty. It also has material fill-up protection to reduce the possibility of the sensor being buried.
