User forums a resounding success

Siemens has once again demonstrated its commitment to South Africa, the environment and its customers at the totally integrated automation (TIA) user forums held recently in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth. The forums are aimed at end-users and value added resellers of the company's products, allowing them to view and trial the latest products in a workshop environment.  The first TIA User Forum took place in 2001, was attended by around 400 customers. In 2010, the decision was taken to bring the forums to the regions, instead of holding a single event in Johannesburg. 2010 also saw a change in the format of the conferences, which became more interactive than in previous years. The feedback from the 2010 events was positive and 2011 saw the company holding its most successful forums yet, allowing it to reach more people, expand its footprint and experience the highest ever levels of attendance.
